SEE THE WORLD THROUGH ART
Introducing our new children's class, See the World through Art. This class is exclusively for serious and talented children ages 5-10. The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-5:30 PM. We plan to open the class on Saturdays as well, 3-5 PM, depending on enrollment. This class introduces a brand new curriculum to Studio A Gallery that studies color and form as derived from nature, interspersed with multicultural story telling as inspiration for further art making, and other unique approaches that stresses knowing the world through art, not through the computer. Our concentration is on the concept of seeing, a looking in depth where words and their meanings float away, replaced by pure observation and intense doing. All mediums are used, sometimes simultaneously. The emphasis is on fun, but, serious fun.
