Suspended Bus Driver On Hunger Strike In Sleepy Hollow
The man alleges he was suspended not not admitting being at fault after a co-worker attacked him.
SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — A suspended school bus driver is on a hunger strike and says he will continue until Tarrytown school district officials speak with him. Tony Tola said he was wrongfully suspended after refusing to admit he was at fault after a co-worker attacked him.
He’s been sleeping in his car outside Sleepy Hollow Middle High School for the past five nights, News 12 said.
Tola is also gathering signatures outside the school in protest.
