Tappan Zee Observation Binoculars Returning to Tarrytown Park

The binoculars that were installed by Tarrytown at the viewing platform in Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park are slated to return, according to officials.

Last month, the binoculars were removed to install “stops” in the devices, which will prevent them from being used to look into the homes along the riverfront. The binoculars were installed to allow people to view the construction of the new Tappan Zee bridge.

The binoculars should be returned to the Village and reinstalled sometime in the near future, according to officials.
