There is a provision in the Procurement Policy regarding Fire Department purchases and preapproval forms. Blau wants to discuss with the Board exactly how the process works and whether the Board is interested in revising this requirement in the policy.
3. Bid – Street Sweeper
Blau will review with the Board the bid received for a new street sweeper.
4. Sale of Riverside Hose
Blau has received four proposals for the sale of the old Riverside Hose pumper and he wants to discuss with the Board those proposals and seek input on how the Board wants to proceed.
5. Taxi Drivers Licensing Fee
The Village law requires a license for a taxi driver to be placed in a conspicuous location in the taxi cab. The license must be of a size that is large enough for people to read. The Village Clerk has been taking the licenses issued by the WCTLC and enlarging and laminating those licenses for placement in the taxis. The Clerk has suggested that there be a fee involved and the Board asked me to work up a fee.
6. Use of Organic Waste Transfer Station, Leaf Season
Discussion with the Board about rules for the use of the Transfer Station during the fall leaf season.
7. Legislative Gazette
The Village was contacted by a newspaper in Albany about creating a one time newspaper for the Village at no cost to the Village. Blau wanted to discuss this concept with the Board.
8. Records, Public Access
Discussion with the Board regarding the appeal process for FOIL appeals.
Executive Session
1A. Board of Ethics
2A. School Finance Committee
The meeting takes place at Village Hall, One Depot Plaza, at 7 p.m. and is open to the public until executive session.
