Tarrytown Joins Purchasing Consortium
The group helps local governments minimize costs and save time throughout the purchasing process.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The Village of Tarrytown has joined a purchasing group that will streamline bidding and purchasing processes. The village will use BidNet's Empire State Purchasing Group which connects participating agencies across the state to a large vendor pool.
The group provides local governments the tools needed to minimize costs and save time throughout the purchasing process.
Village Administrator Richard Slingerland said that his vendors can now save time and paperwork.
"They not only have direct access to our open bids, but those from other agencies throughout the state," he said. "We invite all vendors to register on the Empire State Purchasing Group to start receiving business opportunities."
