Around 2:30 p.m. that day, he went to the school’s parking lot where the child was observed on video entering and exiting a motor vehicle he was driving. There was no physical contact between the two.
A couple of days later, Samuel sent photographs of himself to the child, including two photographs of his genitals with explicit messages, indicating that he wanted to have sex with her.
School officials were notified by the child’s mother about the social media contact between Samuel and the child.
Police were notified and were provided with the school’s surveillance video of the parking lot encounter, along with screen shots from the child’s cellphone.
After an investigation, Samuel was arrested Oct. 30, 2014, at the Village of Elmsford Police Department.
He remains in Westchester County Jail and is due to be sentenced April 20.
Samuel faces an indeterminate sentence of not less than three years or more than seven years in state prison.
