Tarrytown School Calendar 2019-20: First Day Of School

TARRYTOWN, NY — The first day of school is Sept. 3 in Tarrytown — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP.

The Tarrytown school district has released its 2019-20 calendar.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2019-20 school year:

September

• 9/3: First Day of School
• 9/30-10/1: No School (Rosh Hashanah)

October

• 10/9: No School (Yom Kippur)
• 10/14: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/5: No School (Supt. Conference Day)
• 11/11: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/28-29: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/23-31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1-3: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/31: No School (Supt. Conference Day)

February

• 2/17-21: No School (Winter Recess)

March

• 3/20: No School (Supt. Conference Day)

April

• 4/6-13: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/22-25: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/26: Last Day of School

If school is closed for more than four days, the following days will be deducted in this order: 5/22, 4/13, 4/6, 4/7.
