County-Center Hoops: Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow Daily Sports Digest, Feb. 27

Hoops at the county center

The best in local boys and girls basketball, from Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and southern Dutchess, will be competing at the Westchester County Center in White Plains Feb. 27-March 4 in the Section 1 semifinals and finals for the right to hoist the Gold Ball.

Semifinals

On the girls side at the county center from this neck of the woods, No. 6 will go against No. 2 Tappan Zee at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1 in a Class A semifinal.

Swimming

Kathryn Ha (DF-HACKLEY '09) and the Williams College women's swim team finished 5th in the NESCAC Championship at Wesleyan on the 17th, as she was 2nd in the 200 Butterfly, with a time of 2:04.41.
