Sleepy boys in challenge game

Sleepy Hollow's boys basketball squad got to participate in the prestigous Slam Dunk Tournament at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.

The Headless Horsemen played Blind Brook in the challenge game on Dec. 27, falling to the Trojans 50-39.

Pacing the Headless Horsemen were 17 points from Harley Falasca and 11 rebounds by L.J. Garrant.

Their teammate Freddie Bertrand contributed eight points and seven rebounds.

Sleepy on the mat

Highlights for the Headless Horsemen included Steve Bencosme winning a tight 12-7 decision in the 138-pound weight class.
