From hot and sticky to brisk and gusty — to say we haven’t yet had a classic long stretch of summer weather (and yes, it’s still technically spring) is an understatement — however, that is changing this week.

If you have any outdoor plans such as graduations to attend, you’ve hit the jackpot. There is no rain in the forecast until Thursday.

The breezy conditions will continue on Monday, said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "This will set up several days in a row of rather nice weather. Tuesday looks mostly sunny with comfortable humidity, and highs in the mid to upper 70s. That should continue through Wednesday as well… before we see a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon into Friday."

Here's the National Weather Service's work week forecast for southern Westchester County:

• Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Northwest wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
• Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph.
• Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 78. Northwest wind around 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
• Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
• Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Northwest wind 3 to 5 mph.
• Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.
• Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81.
• Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61.
• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
• Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
