Tarrytown Wants Vacant Citibank's Parking Spaces

The village has had its eye on the unused spaces since 2016.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The Village of Tarrytown is seeking to take over vacant parking spaces left when Citibank closed its doors in the village at the corner of Broadway and Neperan Road in 2016. Village Administrator Richard Slingerland said he's told Citibank that Tarrytown will proceed with taking over some of the lots spaces by eminent domain.

The price of the parking spaces has not been disclosed because of impending negotiations, thehudsonindependent.com said.

A challenge by Citibank was dismissed in April 2017 by an appeals court.
