Tarrytown's David Baumwoll interviewed on his children's book promoting democracy

These are difficult times for democracy. We can’t take for granted the fact that democracy in the United States will continue.
David Baumwoll, a resident of Tarrytown and one of 60 scholars from around the nation to have been selected a 2023 Presidential leadership scholar, recently wrote a book about the power of democracy. He wrote a book “Ruthie for the People Saving Friendship Tre1) for children -which he hopes will teach children the importance of democracy.
