Tarrytown's Family Y Receives ArtsWestchester Grant

The ArtsWestchester’s Board of Trustees has awarded more than $53,000 in ArtsWestchester’s Arts Alive and Arts Partners Challenge grants to more than 37 local arts organizations, artists, and special projects.

One of the recipients was the Family Y at Tarrytown, which was given the ArtsWestchester Arts Alive Grant for its Tarrytown Y Dance Program: Gateway to the Arts initiative.

Jane Alexandre, of the Tarrytown Y Dance Program, accepted the grant at a ceremony on Jan. 28 in White Plains.
