TD Young Community Center, Pool Closed Until Further Notice

TARRYTOWN, NY — The town of Greenburgh continues to recover from the effects of Hurricane Ida.

Town officials said that last week's storm brought more than a foot of water into the Theodore D. Young Community Center and Natatorium.

There was extensive damage, and the building's maintenance crews have been working to begin the cleanup process.

"With the great support of our state and county leaders, Greenburgh Town Board, Department of Public Works and FEMA, we are committed to getting the Department of Community Resources up and running stronger than ever before," said Deputy Commissioner David M. Reggina.

He said, until further notice, the center and the pool programs are canceled.
