Thruway Toll Collector Stole $1,800: State Police
The thefts are alleged to have occurred last month at the Tarrytown tolls on I-87.

Bronx resident Morris Fraser, 53, was arrested by state police Saturday on charges of Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records in connection with his alleged stealing of $1,800 from the Tarrytown tolls on I-87.
Police said Fraser, who was a part-time toll collector at that site, took $1,783 over two days last month by “altering toll tickets.”
To do so, Fraser forged a paper ledger report. The New York Thruway Authority’s Toll Audit Department first noticed the funds were missing and contacted state police. During its investigation, state police discovered Fraser’s alleged involvement.
