One of the most electrifying players on the gridiron in Section 1 one over the last few years has been Sleepy Hollow's LJ Garrant.
People have noticed how good Garrant is around the state as well as he was named fifth-team all-state in Class A.

Another Sleepy player that has dazzled Section 1 as well, Steve Bencosme, was also fifth-team all-state.

Hackley falls to Poly Prep
boys basketball team enjoyed a seven-point halftime lead but fell to visiting Poly Prep 59-49 Jan. 6.
