wrestling stud Justin Seim competed in the 126-pound weight class in the Eastern States Jan. 14, finishing eighth in a highly competitive field.

Girls youth hoops
The Horsemen played well but lost 17-8 to Mahopac Jan. 14 in the fifth-grade division of the Tri-County Basketball League.

College News from Dick Miller
Sophomore swimmer Kathryn Ha (Hackley '10) of Williams, in a home meet with Wesleyan and Tufts on the 14th, competed in four races , finishing 3rd in the women's 100 Backstroke , timed at 1:02.97 , was 4th in the 200 Backstroke, in 2:15.49, and won the 100 Butterfly in 59.52.
Her 400 Freestyle Relay also won , with Ha swimming anchor, clocked at 3:38.88. The Ephs topped Wesleyan, 167-91, while they outscored the Jumbos , 171-91.
