Over the last few years girls basketball coach Nick Romeo and the girls in his program have done a great job buidling it into what it is today and that is one of the best teams in Section 1.
Led by scoring machine Jamie Bucci, Sleepy Hollow, which is 10-3 as of the ranking period, was recognized as such with a No. 8 overall ranking and No. 4 position in Class A in the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog.

So do the ones at Hackley
Hackley has also stood out in girls hoops, as it has won all 10 of its games at the time of the rankings, led by its own scoring standout Allie Coppola.
Hackley was voted overall as the No. 9 team in the poll.
