Jason Edwards, Athletics Director: I would like to announce that two football players have been honored as Golden Dozen recipients. The Golden Dozen is awarded to outstanding football players in Westchester County who have also done well in the classroom.
It is with no surprise that AJ Wolf was named to the Golden Dozen Team. He is one of the best defensive players to play at Hackley School racking up 251 tackles in his career.
Will Johnson was also named to the Honorable Mention team. Although Will did not play a single down during the regular season due to a preseason injury, his leadership skills as well as his attitude earned him the award. He essentially was another coach on the field the entire season.

LoHud points out Bucci
The Sleepy Hollow girls basketball squad didn't make this week's poll on the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog.
However, it was stated that someone who has a prolific scorer like the Headless Horsemen do in Jamie Bucci, who can score at a moment's notice, needs to be taken seriously.

Coach Carver wins at CC
Former Sleepy Hollow student and Mamaroneck boys basketball coach Tyrone Carver always dreamed of playing at the Westchester County Counter in White Plains.
When that didn't happen, he accomplished the next best thing, winning as a coach there.
He did that in the Slam Dunk Tournament Challenge game Dec. 28, in Mamaroneck's 52-43 victory against Brewster.
