Here are the unofficial results from Tuesday's Primaries:
Governor: Cuomo will face Paladino
In an upset, the Republican primary between Rick A. Lazio, a native Long Islander and former member of the U.S House of Representatives, and Carl P. Paladino, a former lawyer and conservative who has the backing of the Tea Party, ended with a Paladino victory on Tuesday.

Paladino beat Lazio by a wide margin with 62 percent of the vote. Paladino will face Democrat Andrew Cuomo in November's general election.

Thomas V. Ognibene, a conservative and former member of the New York City Council who ran for mayor against Michael Bloomberg, is Paladino's chosen running mate. Ognibene was just slightly ahead in the vote against Gregory J. Edwards, the current County Executive for Chautauqua County who was Lazio's running mate.
Results from that race were too close to call, Edwards currently has a 3,500-vote lead, setting up the possibility that Paladino could be running with Lazio's choice for lieutenant governor.
State Attorney General: Schneiderman Likely
Eric Schneiderman looks set to clinch the Democratic nomination with 34 percent of the vote. Kathleen Rice is at 32 percent with 98 percent of districts reporting.
Schneiderman will likely face Daniel Donovan, a prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the only Republican candidate, in the November election.
Five Democrats were hoping for the Democratic nomination to be Attorney General: Richard Brodsky, a member of the State Assembly representing the 92nd district since 1982; Eric T. Schniederman, a progressive Democrat and member of the state Senate since 1998; Sean Coffey, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York; Eric R. DiNallo, former Assistant District Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, and head of the New York State Insurance Department; and Kathleen Rice, the District Attorney for Nassau County.
U.S. Senator (full term): Townsend will face Schumer
Jay Townsend, a businessman who owns the consulting firm The Townsend Group, beat Gary Berntsen, a retired CIA officer and businessman, for the Republican nomination on Tuesday.
Townsend secured 56 percent of the vote to Berntsen's 44 percent iwth 95 percent of districts reporting. Townsend will face Democrat Charles E. Schumer, the current U.S. Senator.
U.S. Senator (unexpired term): Gillibrand will face DioGuardi
Kirsten Gillibrand had a landslide victory over Gail Goode, a former lawyer for the New York City Transit Authority. Gillibrand tallied 76 percent of the vote to Goode's 24 percent.
The Republican candidate Joseph J. DioGuardi secured his party's nomination with 42 percent of the vote over his next closest rival, David Malpass, who had 38 percent. Bruce Blakeman, an attorney and former member of the Nassau County Legislature had 20 percent of the vote.
Member of State Assembly – 92nd District
Westchester County Legislator Thomas Abinanti had a resounding victory over Dobbs Ferry resident Anna Sterne. Abinanti secured 65 percent of the vote to Sterne's 35 percent. Abinanti will face Elmsford native and Republican challenger Tom Bock, a former fire chief in that municipality.
County Court Judge: Martino Gets Conservative Nod
Douglas J. Martino secured the Conservative nomination with 73 percent of the vote on Tuesday. Current judge, Barry Warhit, received 27 percent – both had already secured other party nominations and were set to face each other in November.
Barry E. Warhit, a Scarsdale resident and former Village of Tarrytown justice, was appointed to the Westchester County Court in 2010, he running for a full 10-year term against attorney the Republican challenger Douglas J. Martino.
