UPDATE: Coast Guard to Investigate Tugboat Accident Near TZB Thursday
The boat got tangled with a cable tied to construction barge.
UPDATE—Thursday, June 30, 2016, 5:30 p.m.: An investigation into the partial sinking of a tugboat that hit a cable securing a barge near the new Tappan Zee Bridge will be led by the Coast Guard.
The incident was reported a little after noon Thursday, lohud.com said, and everyone got of the boat safely.
