Ukrainian Violinist, Aleksey Semenenko to Perform October 18 in Sleepy Hollow

A first prize winner of the 2012 Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York comes to Kusel Auditorium

Ukrainian violinist, Aleksey Semenenko will perform on Saturday, October 18 for the Friends of Music Concerts at Kusel Auditorium at Sleepy Hollow High School, 210 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow (Route 9) in Sleepy Hollow.  The program will include works by Schubert, Ysaye Poulenc, Tchaikovsky, Chausson, astelnuovo-Tedesco.  The performance will begin at 8pm.  Parking is free.

The young musician, a first prize winner at the 2012 Young Artists International Auditions in New York and recipient of Friends’ fifth Performance Award, will perform with piano collaborator Inna Firsoza.  In 2013-14 he has made or will have made debuts in New York, Washington and Boston.  As a member of the Stolyansky Quartet, which he founded, he has performed in Russia, Ukraine, France, Malta and Switzerland.

For adults; single tickets to individual concerts are $30 each.  Students, 18 years of age and younger are admitted free of charge.  Call 914-861-5080 for tickets.
