Winter Weather Warning, Advisories Issued For Hudson Valley
Get ready for snow to hit the Hudson Valley Thursday.

Winter Weather Advisories and a Warning have been issued for the mid- and lower Hudson Valley for Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. In order of severity, as of Wednesday evening, southern Westchester County is looking at the most snowfall from the storm.
A Winter Storm Warning was issued for southern Westchester in effect from 1 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.
Heavy snow and blowing snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches possible. Local amounts up to 10 inches are possible across Queens and Nassau counties.

Winds gusting up to 50 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
For northern Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, western Columbia, eastern Ulster and western Dutchess counties, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.

Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected.
Wind gusts as high as 40 mph are expected.
