A.J. Wolf, a June graduate of the Hackley School, whose performances in football and track for the Hornets were outstanding, now transfers his talents to Durham, N.C. where he will play football for the Duke Blue Devils in the fall, and then switch to track and field for the balance of the year. He is already listed as number 93 on the team's roster, and listed as a defensive end, with eight teammates also designated for the position.

He'll face rugged Division 1 opposition, with the season opening on Sept. 1 at home with Florida International of Miami at Wallace Wade Stadium, named after the legendary head coach there, whose record numbers are among the most successful mentors in the annals of the game. They travel to Palo Alto C.A. to play Stanford on the 8th, then host North Carolina Central on the 15th.

Memphis will be the home opposition on the 22nd, and then on the 29th, they travel to Wake Forest in the Tar Heel State to face the Deacons.

The October calendar opens on the 6th, when the Virginia Cavaliers come to town, and then on the 13th, the Blue Devils travel to Virginia to play Virginia Tech. The Tarheels of North Carolina, their biggest rival, will be the visitors on the 20th, and next, on the 27th, in Tallahassee, Duke will challenge Florida State.

The three November foes will be a home contest with the Clemson Tigers on the 3rd, followed by an away game with the Ramblin' Wrecks of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, and the boys host the Miami Hurricanes on the 24th, in the regular season's finale.
