Sleepy Hollow

Gillian Berger represented Sleepy Hollow at the New York State Outdoor Track and Field Championships on June 8 and June 9 at Cicero-North Syracuse High School in the Triple Jump, with her seeding 3rd, at 38:06.75. In the competition, she finished 5th, with a distance of 38-00.

Hackley

In the boys discus event, A. J. Wolf was the winner, with his distance of 180-02, with the runner-up, Mike Prevorse of Pioneer High of Cattaraugus County going 163-08.

In the 100, Alyza Ngbokoli was seeded 10th, at 15:92 while in the 400 Hurdles, she had a seeding of 2nd, at 1:04.50. She finished 1st of 15 hurdlers in the Hurdles, with a time of 1:03.12.

In the boys 100, Mustapha Dais was seeded 2nd, with a time of 10.98, while in the Triple Jump, he was one of two competitors to be seeded 8th, at 44-09. He finished 10th of 17 in the event, with his distance of 43-09.75. In the 100, he finished 6th of 23 runners, with his clocking of 11:51.

In the Boys 4x100 Relay, the quartet of Robert Cacace, Ian Parnell, Dais, and Elijah Ngbokoli were seeded 3rd, with a time of 43.84. With 14 teams competing, they finished in 2nd place in the event, with a clocking of 43.77.

In the Girls 4x100, the foursome of Julia Baker, Racchelle Emmanuell, Alyza Ngbokoli, and Tess Cavanough, were seeded 11th. Running in the meet, they finished 12th, timed at 57.27 with Julia Baker, Alyza Ngbokoli, Rachelle Emmanuele, and Tess Cavanaugh doing the running.

In the 200, Ian Parnell was seeded 2nd, with a time of 22.12, while he was seeded 1st in the 400, with a seed time of 49.22. In the meet, he was 4th in the 200, clocked at 23:05, while in the 400, he finished 3rd of 16 runners, with a time of 49.65.

Girls Hoops 

The Girls Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) Team will hold tryouts from 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight at Ossining High School according to the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog.

Any girl who played in Section 1 this past season and is eligible to play high school basketball this winter is allowed to try out for the squad.
