'You're Going to be Very Pleased' -- Weekend Weather for Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown

A rare summer weekend that's sunny and hot but with low humidity is coming our way.

"A gorgeous weekend lies ahead of us… with abundant sunshine, and winds out of the northeast," says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "That means low humidity, despite very warm temps in the mid 80s. The type of day that is hard to come by during the summer time in the Hudson Valley. So if you have outdoor plans Saturday or Sunday… you’re going to be very pleased."

One caveat in case you're going to the beach: AccuWeather meteorologists warn that a storm out in the Atlantic Ocean could bring heavy surf conditions to the coast.

Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight
Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming west after midnight.

Saturday
Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s. Northwest winds around 5 mph...becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday Night
Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday
Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night
Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s.
