2 Centereach Pizza Restaurants Robbed In Same Day
The robberies took place within about five and a half hours of each other, police say.
CENTEREACH, NY — Two Centereach pizza restaurants were robbed less than six hours apart on Monday afternoon, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
A man entered Pizza Hut at 2082 Middle Country Road at 2:09 p.m., stole cash from the register and ran off, police said.
Around 7:45 p.m., a man entered Domino’s Pizza at 2430 Middle Country Road, displayed a knife and demanded cash from an employee, police said. The clerk complied and the man ran off, police said.

No one was injured in either robbery.
Detectives believe the two robberies may be related and are asking anyone with information to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553 or Crime Stoppers at 631-852-6308.
