4 Men Attack Centereach Denny's Worker, Woman

The four men are wanted for assault, police say. Have you seen them?

CENTEREACH, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the four men who police say assaulted two people at a Centereach restaurant last month.

Around 4 a.m. on Dec. 8, the group attacked a man employed at the Denny's restaurant at 255 Middle Country Road, police said. When a woman who was dining at the eatery tried to intervene, they attacked her too, police said. Both were brought to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries. The four men are wanted on charges of assault.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
