STONY BROOK, NY — Namkeen, the fast-casual concept restaurant known for its bold flavors and signature Nashville hot chicken, is opening its first location on Long Island in Stony Brook this Friday.
To celebrate the grand opening, Namkeen will be offering free Nashville hot chicken sandwiches to the first 100 guests.
The store will open at 12 p.m.
The restaurant sells not only sandwiches but also chicken tenders, chicken and waffles, and full meals with sides like fries, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Tikka melts, Korean Boom Boom sandos, and loaded fries are also available.
The chain, which has a Brooklyn location and a growing presence in New Jersey, Georgia, and Canada, marked another step in the brand’s continued growth across the northeast, bringing its crave-worthy menu and culture-driven experience to Long Island, a rep for the company said.
The Stony Brook opening "further strengthens" its footprint in the New York market while reflecting the brand’s rapid national expansion.
Namkeen blends Nashville’s iconic hot chicken with bold, unexpected flavor, creating a menu that’s both familiar and distinctive, a rep said.
Its cuisine is built on the belief that great food brings people together, the brand focuses on high-quality ingredients, signature spice blends, and an elevated yet approachable fast-casual experience, according to the rep.
The company's Chief Executive Officer, TJ Jiwan, who was joined by co-Founders, Usman Chaudhry and Nouman Chaudhry, said the trio are excited to continue growing in New York and bring Namkeen to the Stony Brook community.
“The support we’ve seen across our markets has been incredible, and we’re looking forward to delivering the same energy, flavor, and experience here," he added.The store is located at 1320 Stony Brook Road, Suite 25.
