STONY BROOK, NY — A fire broke out at a home in Stony Brook on Friday morning, drawing area firefighters, Suffolk police said.
Officers were notified by a 911 caller and responded to the fire at the Fraternity Lane home at around 8:15 a.m., according to police.
The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported, police said.
It was one of two fires that local firefighters responded to on Friday in Brookhaven Town.
A fire in East Patchogueis being investigated by the Arson Squad, police said.
