Arrowhead Shows It CARES
Arrowhead Elementary School students were all smiles when the school mascot CARES the Bear showed up at their recent assembly.
THREE VILLAGE, NY - From Three Village Central School District: The overarching messages included in Three Village Central School District’s Arrowhead Elementary School’s character education program – called CARES – were recently proudly displayed during the school’s first assembly program of the year.
During the event, teachers and students came together to explain the program’s acronym and how everyone can be compassionate, accepting, respectful, encouraging and sharing each day.
As an added reminder of the importance of the topic, Arrowhead’s mascot – CARES the Bear – made a special appearance during the event and helped to announce that those students who are “caught” displaying one of the program’s themes will be rewarded with various tokens of appreciation this year – including commemorative CARES pencils, bags or bracelets.
