Take & Makes

Looking for something fun and/or tasty to make but don’t have the supplies? Emma Clark Library provides the supplies and instructions, you pick them up and create from the comfort of your own home. Below are the “Take & Make” crafts and food for the month of August for those entering grades 7 – 12. Note: Supplies are limited. Info on how to get supplies below.
Emoji Cake Pops
Supply pickup starting Monday, August 3. Instruction provided in prerecorded video.
Fairy Dust Sugar Body Scrub
Supply pickup starting Tuesday, August 4.
Zoom instruction on Thursday, August 6 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Please Note: You must be available for the Zoom Session to pickup supplies and participate in this program.
Llama Llama Paint-O-Rama!
Supply pickup starting Friday, August 7.
Zoom instruction on Monday, August 10 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Please Note: You must be available for the Zoom Session to pickup supplies and participate in this program.

Teen & Family Baking Night: Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza
Supply pickup starting Tuesday, August 11. One supply kit per family. Instruction provided in prerecorded video.
Shark Fin Cupcakes
Supply pickup starting Thursday, August 13. Instruction provided in prerecorded video.
Turtle’s First Swim Painting
Supply pickup starting Monday, August 17.
Zoom instruction on Wednesday, August 19 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Please Note: You must be available for the Zoom Session to pickup supplies and participate in this program.

To register for one or more of these “Take & Make” programs, please follow these simple instructions:
1. Select the program(s) you want to participate in.
2. Email your Teen Librarian, Emily Ostrander at teens@emmaclark.org. In the Subject Line, put “July Take and Make Registration.” In the email, provide your full name, grade, phone number, and library card number, and list the title of each program that you want to participate in.
3. Once you are accepted for the class, you will be told when and how you can pick up the supplies, as well as how to access the instructional class (prerecorded video or Zoom session).


Supplies are limited! Please register early to reserve your Take and Make kit!
