Ward Melville dedicated their Oct. 14 games against Commack High School to the initiative. The teams sported unique white and pink t-shirts created by the Side Out Foundation and coordinated a bake sale and sold pink bracelets for the cause.
The Ward Melville boys volleyball teams will host a similar event during their Oct. 27 game. To date, the county has raised more than $250,000 for the initiative.
