
Mark Torres, author of Long Island and the Legacy of Eugenics: Station of Intolerance, will discuss the dark history of the eugenics program developed by the Eugenics Record Office in Cold Spring Harbor during the early 20th century, which spread throughout the nation and the world with ghastly consequences. Hosted by Emma Clark Library.
