Volunteer at Hobbs Farm - School's Closed! (Grades 3 - 12)

Join us for an open community event where residents are invited to bring in family photographs, keepsakes, or letters to share in a communal setting. Diana, our 2025 Fellow, will offer guidance on how to preserve and digitize these materials as well as lead an informal conversation on how visual histories shape identity. We hope that this exchange of memories creates a safe space of intergenerational learning.&nbsp;&nbsp;
*Participants should bring family recipes, photographs, letters and/or art to share with the collective.&nbsp;
About our 2025 Fellow, Diana:
Diana is an artist and educator based in Hauppauge, NY, and a proud mother of four. Her work explores memory, identity, and the hidden spaces within family archives, often using photography and performance to construct new narratives from absence. Diana received an MFA from Stony Brook University in 2025, where her thesis exhibition&nbsp;Constructing a Past&nbsp;was shown at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery. Alongside this work, she's been developing&nbsp;Americanized, a project that reflects on assimilation and erasure through altered family photographs. Balancing motherhood and art-making is at the heart of her practice, shaping both the stories she tells and the communities she hopes to reach.

Music @ SPC welcomes bass-baritone Liam Butchart and pianist Yihao Zhou to&nbsp;Setauket Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 30th at 7:30pm. Liam and Yihao will perform a&nbsp;captivating recital of songs by Verdi, Wolf, Duparc, and Vaughan Williams in SPC's inviting and resonant Fellowship Hall. This performance is FREE and open to the public. All are welcome! A meet-and-greet with the artists follows the concert&nbsp;and light refreshments will be served.
