Wifredo Lam: Cubist, Surrealist, and Afro-Cuban Artist

Wifredo Lam charted a pathbreaking trajectory in modern art. He served as a reference for subsequent generations of artists working across the Caribbean, Africa and the West. Learn all about this Cuban artist, who was inspired by and in contact with some of the most renowned artists of the 20th century, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Frida Kahlo, and Diego Rivera.
