LIYD Chess Club's 1st Charity Chess Tournament – Registration is Open! ❤️️
100% of tournament proceeds will be donated directly to Stony Brook Children's Hospital. Play chess, have fun, and make a difference!
This is an unrated, friendly, and welcoming event. Any youth player who can complete a chess game independently is welcome. Don't worry if your child has no prior tournament experience—taking that first step to face an opponent and finish a game is an incredible milestone for growth!

📋 Tournament Overview
Eligibility: Ages 18 & under, all skill levels welcome. (Note: Parents/guardians must stay on-site; no drop-offs for ages 12 and under).
Format: 2 Sections (Beginner & Intermediate) | 4 Rounds | 15–20 minutes per player.
Awards: Trophies for the Top 4 players in each section; medals for all players scoring 2+ points.
Registration Fee: Early bird is $10.
