Centereach Massage Parlor Employees Charged With Unlawful Practice: PD

The 2 employees were arrested and charged after a police investigation.

CENTEREACH, NY — Two employees at a Centereach massage parlor were arrested and charged with unlawful practice of a profession on Monday, Suffolk County Police said.

At about 4 p.m., police, along with a Town of Brookhaven Building Inspector, Brookhaven Town Fire Marshal and Brookhaven Town Investigator, conducted an investigation at New Day Spa, located at 14 Dawn Drive, in response to numerous community complaints.

Following the investigation, Jessica Garcia, 30, and Wenjuan Deng, 42, both of Flushing, Queens, were arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.

They were issued a desk appearance ticket and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

The Town of Brookhaven also documented numerous violations and condemned the premises, police said.
