Building the Brooklyn Bridge (In-Person)
Tuesday, September 6, 7:00 - 8:00pm - Join historian Jeffrey Richman, author of Building the Brooklyn Bridge, 1869-1883: An Illustrated History with Images in 3D to learn about how the iconic Brooklyn Bridge came into being and what makes the bridge so special. Enjoy viewing many of the book’s more than 250 images, including some photographs in 3D. Click here to register.

What's Up, King Tut? The Myths, Treasures and Archaeology of King Tut-Ankh-Amun
Tuesday, September 27, 7:00 - 8:00pm - In 1922, British archeologist Howard Carter entered an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh’s tomb, finding the chambers miraculously intact. The world was stunned to find all the treasures and the mummy of the now famous King Tut-Ankh-Amun, a young pharaoh who ruled all of Egypt 3,500 years ago. In honor of this year’s 100th anniversary of this ground-breaking archeological discovery, museum educator Marisa Horowitz-Jaffe will explore the life of the young king, what his world was like, and all the golden treasures found in his tomb. The Van Gogh Museum (In-Person)
Wednesday, October 19, 12:30 - 1:45pm - Take a trip to Amsterdam with art historian Jay Schuck as he leads a virtual tour through the galleries of the Van Gogh Museum. Located in Amsterdam, this museum features the art of Vincent Van Gogh and his contemporaries. Click here to register.
Jia-Yi He: Harmonica Virtuoso, From Classical to Modern (In-Person)
Sunday, October 23, 2:00 - 3:30pm - Jia-Yi He, an acclaimed harmonica virtuoso, has won prestigious awards in America, Europe and the Far East . Performing concerts around the world, he plays different kinds of harmonicas: Chromatic, Diatonic, Tremolo, Bass, multiple harmonicas... as well as the largest harmonica and the smallest harmonica in the world. The program features works from classical to modern. This program is made possible by the Philip Groia Global Studies bequest. Click here to register.
Stirring Up History - Timeline of Food (In-Person)
Tuesday, October 25, 6:30 - 8:00pm - Join Diane Schwindt as she takes on us a culinary journey through time. Learn about the evolution of the foods we eat, the sayings we use, and the important roles women played in the world of the kitchen.
