CVS Thief Hit 7 Suffolk Stores In One Day: Police

The items stolen during each incident had a value of more than $1,000, police say.

Police are looking to identify the man who stole hair and eye care products from at least seven CVS stores in Suffolk County last month.

According to authorities, the man stole the items from CVS stores located in the Third, Fifth and Sixth precincts on March 26 between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The items stolen during each incident had a value of more than $1,000.

  • The Fourth Precinct includes the Town of Smithtown and the incorporated villages of the Branch, Islandia, and Lake Grove. This precinct also covers border areas of the Towns of Huntington, Islip and Brookhaven.
  • The Third Precinct covers the Town of Islip (West), including the incorporated village of Brightwaters.
  • The Sixth Precinct includes the Town of Brookhaven (North) and the incorporated villages of Old Field, Poquott, Belle Terre and Port Jefferson.

The man is wanted for grand larceny.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
