Gallery North Exhibition Tour/Painting Class
Artists Angela Stratton and Irene Ruddock are offering a one-day workshop for children and young adults of all abilities. The workshop will consist of a gallery tour of the new exhibit Local Color 1 – Photography. The exhibit, which runs from August 3 – 24, features work by contemporary Long Island photography artists.

After the tour, students will be provided with a variety of painting materials to paint their impressions of the artists’ photographs while exploring their own individual talents.

Painting may be done outside if the weather permits; otherwise students will work in the newly renovated 84 Art Center.
Students may bring a smock and a snack.
