Temple Isaiah Hosts Series of Lectures by Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin  

 Acclaimed author,  Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin discusses his perspectives on modern Jewish life in a three day long series of programs presented by Temple Isaiah’s Scholar-in-Residence Weekend, to be held Friday, March 30 through  Sunday, April 1st.  Open to the public, the programs will include topics such as “The Book of David (Larry David, that is)” and “Text Messages: How the Torah Speaks to Teenagers.”

 The author of numerous books on Judaism, including the bestseller Putting God On The Guest List: How To Reclaim The Spiritual Meaning Of Your Child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Rabbi Salkin  serves Temple Israel in Columbus, Georgia.  Rabbi Salkin is also the founder of Kol Echad: Making Judaism Matter, a trans-denominational adult learning center in Atlanta, Georgia.
