Hats For A Cause
First and sixth-graders at Minnesauke Elementary School joined forces in a creative project to raise awareness for shaken baby syndrome.
THREE VILLAGE, NY - From Three Village Central School District: Minnesauke Elementary School students in Patricia Woods’ sixth-grade class teamed up with the first-grade students in Jen Frole’s class to complete a purple-themed project to raise awareness and prevent shaken baby syndrome. The students decorated 50 purple infant hats and created informative tags for new parents at St. Charles Hospital to help them remember that PURPLE crying is just a phase, that it will pass and to ask for help.
