Police are investigating a St. James bank robbery that occurred Sunday afternoon.
According to authorities, a man wearing a constuction mask over the lower half of his face entered TD Bank, located at 621 Lake Ave., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash at 2:35 p.m.
The teller complied and the robber fled on foot southbound on Lake Avenue.

Police described the man as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, and wearing a brown-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
