Man Robs Suffolk County Bank
He presented a note to a teller demanding cash, police say.

CENTEREACH, NY – A man robbed a Suffolk County bank Friday afternoon, police said.
According to police, the man entered the People’s United Bank located at 1919 Middle Country Road in Centereach at about 4:20 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash.
The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The robber fled on foot in an easterly direction.

The robber is described as white, in his 30s, with short dark hair, a medium build and medium height. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and sunglasses.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
