Man Stole From Hardware Store, Fled on Moped: Police

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say stole tools from a Setauket hardware store earlier this month.

According to police, the man pictured above entered Ace Hardware, located at 1366 Route 25A, and stole two Dewalt Impact Drivers, valued at approximately $320, on Dec. 13 at about 2 p.m. The man fled to a waiting moped, driven by another male, police said.
