Man Tried To Use Stolen Debit Card At Suffolk Bank: Police

The card was stolen from an unlocked car. Police are asking for the public's help to track down the man who tried to use it.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who attempted to use a stolen debit card at a Suffolk County bank earlier this month.

According to police, the man pictured above attempted to use a debit card at an ATM at the Bank of America located at 15 Bennetts Road in East Setauket on Dec. 1 around 7 a.m. The card had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked at a home on Seabrook Court in Stony Brook earlier that day, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
