The 37-year-old Mastic man was riding a 2017 Yamaha eastbound on North Country Road, near Parkside Drive, when it left the roadway and crashed around 11:45 p.m., according to police. He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital by the Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps. in serious condition, police said. The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check, according to police. Anyone with information about the crash should call 631-854-8652.
