From Three Village Central School District: Three Village Central School District’s R.C. Murphy Junior High School ninth-grade student Rebecca Blumenthal has been named the first-place winner in her division for Emma Clark’s annual Helen Stein Shack Book Contest for her picture book, “Racing Star.”
Rebecca’s book will be bound and become part of the children’s library’s permanent collection. She will also be presented with a $400 scholarship.
