New York Sea Grant Recognized for Outstanding Achievement from Fair Media Council
Two New York Sea Grant staff members have been recognized for outstanding commitment to communications excellence by the Fair Media Council.
New York Sea Grant’s Communications Manager Paul C. Focazio and Digital Media Specialist Maria Beccari successfully completed a one-year communications intensive of the Fair Media Council’s Core Foundation Masterclass Series.

The Core Foundation Series is designed to provide professionals with the insight and application methods to communicate effectively in the evolving media landscape

Participants in the masterclass series explore the fundamentals of the modern news environment, including media dynamics, message development, credibility, and current best practices.
